Reflective Narrative: This course meets MLOs 1,2, and 4: Language and Communication, Culture, and Research and Technology. In this course we started to develop our capstone projects with our partner. We chose a topic and started to conduct research on our topics using online resources and books. We also used a textbook in the class titled The Craft of Research this book taught us different strategies and techniques for conducting research. We also did multiple mini presentations on our capstone topics in class to get feedback from our instructor and classmates. Our capstone topics are all related to Japanese culture, so by doing this capstone project we are also gaining more knowledge of our chosen Japanese culture topic.
